Privacy Policy

1. General Information

1.1. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing personal data of Users of the TapNote application (hereinafter: the Application), whose data controller is AppMagic sp. z o.o. | NIP 5492480154, based in Poland (hereinafter: the Administrator).

1.2. User data is processed in accordance with applicable law, including the GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

2. What Data Do We Process?

2.1. In order to use the Application, we process the following personal data:

  • first and last name,
  • email address,
  • technical data related to the account (e.g., Google or Apple account identifier).

2.2. The Administrator does not collect or process special categories of personal data (e.g., sensitive data).

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing

3.1. Users' personal data is processed for the purpose of:

  • enabling registration and login to the Application,
  • providing Application functionality (e.g., audio file transcription),
  • performing the subscription agreement with the User.

3.2. Data processing is based on:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR - contract performance,
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest of the Administrator (e.g., technical support).

4. Where Do We Store Data?

4.1. Personal data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, which are located within the European Economic Area (EEA).

5. How Long Do We Store Data?

5.1. Users' personal data is stored for the period of using the Application.

5.2. After the User deletes their account, all data is permanently removed from our systems.

6. User Rights

6.1. The User has the right to:

  • access their personal data,
  • rectify incorrect or incomplete data,
  • request deletion of their data (right to be forgotten),
  • restrict data processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing.

6.2. To exercise these rights, the User can use the Delete account function in the application settings or contact the Administrator at: team@tapnote.app.

7. Data Sharing

7.1. The Administrator does not share Users' personal data with third parties, except in situations provided for by law.

7.2. Payments in the Application are processed by Apple Pay, which acts as a separate entity processing payment-related data.

8. Data Security

8.1. The Administrator applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, modification, or loss.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

9.1. The Administrator reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy.

9.2. Users will be informed of any changes at least 14 days before they take effect via email.

10.1. For matters related to personal data processing, the User may contact the Administrator at the email address: team@tapnote.app.

10.2. The User has the right to file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) if they believe that their personal data is being processed in violation of applicable law.
